January-March: Developed a strategy for the Commission to more directly engage with accountable care organizations and their partners in Boston. This included meeting with staff throughout the commission and external stakeholders (met Harvard's DrPH group immersion requirment)March-May: Supported the commission's response to COVID-19 by drafting guidance and synthesizing key scientific results and best practices to guide the commission's response and communication decisions.

Provided essential management and program leadership to a diverse portfolio of health systems strengthening, infectious disease research, and pandemic preparedness activities, in partnership with the Bangladesh Ministry of Health, the International Centre for Diarhhoreal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b), and others.

For 11 months in addition to Deputy Director role, directed a robust research and public health capacity-building portfolio in Bangladesh, including providing technical support and ensuring continued results from CDC’s investments.

Worked with partners and staff to describe the impact and work of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registries 10 regional offices, 28 funded state partners, and headquarters staff.

Special Assignment: Coordinated the planning and implementation of the PEPFAR Consultation on the Role of Faith-based Organizations in Sustaining Community and Country Leadership in the Response to HIV/AIDS held May 28-30, 2012 in Limuru, Kenya. One of two primary co-authors for the summary publication containing key recommendations for maximizing contributions of faith-based organizations to the HIV/AIDS response.

Within CDC's Office of Policy, Planning and Evaluation at the National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, coordinated legislative and senior leadership communications, development of congressional budget justification documentation, and issues management.

Special Assignment from CDC: Supported operations, coordination, and communications to the PEPFAR office during a time of Sr. Leadership transition. Primary accomplishments: the development of Kenya's $500 million Country Operation Plan for FY 2011; coordination of Kenya's Global Health Initiative Strategy Plan, and organization of site visits for a large congressional delegation.

Special Assignment from CDC: Coordinated the development and release of the document 'H1N1 Flu: A Guide for Community and Faith-based Organizations'.

Coordinated participatory mapping workshops held in low-income communities throughout the Memphis region as part of initiative to build partnerships with community and faith-based organizations.

- Managed and analyzed data for WHO-funded, multi-university study to map religious health assets in southern Africa. Integrated this analysis into final report entitled “Appreciating Assets: The Contribution of Religion to Universal Access in Africa."- Collaborated with team to develop and implement a research project focused on understanding contributions of faith-based organizations and congregations in the US and Haiti to safe water effort. - Completed several literature reviews, a set of profiles on top US policy makers, and other background research on topics relevant to the intersection of religion, public health and policy.
