I work with Online Business Owners to transform frustrating and unproductive eCommerce websites into websites that sell more stuff with less hassle in a way that feels simple and meaningful for them. To do this I get to work understanding all aspects of their business: their products or service, their reason behind why they do what they do, their drive and motivations & values, their needs, their frustrations and their hopes and dreams for the future of their business. Then I explore and learn about their customers too! Knowing these things helps me create the content and messaging on their website that easily communicates what they're about using words and language that connect with their perfect customers in a way that's meaningful to them! I also create the general flow of the website too (UX Layout), because knowing their customers so well, I can layout a website that is going to help the customers find exactly what's most important for them in a way that's easy to access with no frustrating barriers so that they have a seamless and delightful shopping experience. My clients love that I help them serve the customers so well, but they ALSO love that all of this creates more sales for them with more consistency. eCommerce can be tricky because it seems easy to just throw up a website and sell some products. It's not (and you know this!), and lack of strategy is a major reason why people feel frustrated with their website and like it isn't working for them. Without strategy, you're just shouting into the noisy internet-void hoping to get lucky. But being able to understand your customers and communicate in a way that connects and serves them helps Business Owners feel grounded, way less stressed & frustrated and WAY more productive (ie making consistent sales in a way that feels good!) I love using communication and strategy tools to help Online Business Owners feel empowered and successful, selling their stuff online in a way that feels good.

I worked with the No Pong Team to support and facilitate the launch of the Canadian wing of their business. We had a fantastic time together bringing an all-Canadian version of their successful Australian product to market all while riding the rollercoaster of launching a new business. I managed on-the-ground logistics around manufacturing and shipping and became familiar with the technologies required to connect all those pieces together to create a seamless experience for customers. I was responsible for serving the Canadian Customers and managed a remote, international team of customer support agents. Together with the whole No Pong Team, we created an efficient but warm atmosphere in which to handle all queries and issues. We created scripts and templates (my part, focusing on "Canadian idiosyncrasies") to keep our communication consistent across the board. I also handled eCommerce and website issues as well as financial reporting and tracking. Mainly, my job was to provide stability & consistency, to develop systems, to keep things moving, keep customers delighted and being a solid connection point for the international team during and exciting time of growth and the first year of the launch of business in Canada.
