CurrentLead the Program Division of MCASA with a focus on fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, grant administration, implementing new initiatives, and providing expert information to sexual assault service providers throughout Maryland. Support Maryland’s 17 Rape Crisis and Recovery Centers through development of customized trainings, in-person and online training opportunities, and maintaining Maryland’s Rape Crisis Center’s Program Standards. Collaborate on agency wide projects with the Managing Attorney of the Sexual Assault Legal Institute and MCASA’s Finance and Operations Director. Key Contributions• Supervise a high-preforming staff of 4 and oversea a department of 10 staff members specializing in various areas of sexual assault prevention and response. Foster a trauma-informed remote work environment built on a foundation of support, respect, collaboration, and clear communication. • Execute grant management tasks for both federal and state funding. Collaborate with staff to complete grant applications, oversee quarterly and annual reporting, and ensure compliance and success of grant goals and deliverables.• Lead the many facets of the implication of Maryland’s American Rescue Plan funding for Sexual Assault programs, including overseeing the creation of a grant administration infrastructure, creating the White Paper and other grant application resources, and facilitating the application and grant awarding process of nearly three million dollars.• Served as an Executive Policy Committee member on the Public Safety Policy Committee for Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller’s Transition Team. Worked with other top state leaders to review key public safety policies, recommend metrics to measure success, and identified critical next steps to implement policy change.
