As the designated Court Liaison, I filed petitions with the family court when voluntary treatment and interventions were unsuccessful or when “out-of-home” placement was in the best interest of the child and family’s safety and welfare. I also spent my time advocating for children and families in court to ensure they were being allocated the most appropriate services and resources depending on the needs of the family and their current situation.

I also provided 8 weeks of stabilizing, intensive case management to about 10-12 families to meet immediate mental, physical, financial and medical needs.
