Working directly for the CEO of Waterwise, I manage the team responsible for campaigns, communications, marketing, business development, brand growth, social research and engagement. We run a variety of wide-scale national campaigns. I'm also involved in strategic planning, business development, delivery, income targets and working with a variety of stakeholders.

Working within the Water Efficiency team in Physical Asset Management, I manage the Water Saving Squad which is a team of over 60 people, this involves managing, planning and co-ordinating different events in our supply region. These can range from high profile press events to more low key school fetes. Alongside this, I work to put water efficiency at the forefront of the business by using campaigns, presentations, lobbying and media work to help our customers understand the importance of saving water. Day to day, I liaise with many key stakeholders such as MP’s, Mayors and Local Councils in order to engage and influence change and throughout my time as Asset Technician I have created and been involved in many different campaigns, these include viral images, banners, billboards, leaflets, social media campaigns and more. One of my key achievements throughout my time at Affinity has been the creation of the ‘Water Saving’ twitter page, this is an advocacy page in which I tweet water efficiency tips, advice and campaign to our customers what it is that we do. It was because of this that I won the 'Waterwise' Claire Ridgewell award for my 'outstanding contribution' to water efficiency.This year, results show that through campaigns, events, research and media work, I have reduced water consumption by 2.80 Ml/d (mega-litres per day) compared to the target of 1.50 Ml/d.
