I have advanced the daily operations and strategic priorities of a leading family owned and operated business in numerous capacitieis over my 20-year career and currently serve as CFO. In this role, I create and improve operational strategy spanning finance, marketing, human resources, staff recruitment, team building, client relations, commications management, and other key areas. Throughout my tenure, I have aided the company in growing from a $500K to over $5M company in a highly competitve landscape. I am responsible for creating and administering a $5M annual budget, creating and updating strategic plans, designing and leading staff training programs, conducting workforce and succession planning, and setting sales-focused revenue generation and growth strategies, among other key work.

In this role, I advanced the crtical and evolving priorities of the City of Modesto while also supporting the public and facilitating community strategic planning and development activities. I also aided in planning and overseeing a $350M+ annual budget while concurrently building and growing strong relationships with staff, constituents, and State and Federal government officials. Throughout my tenure, I co-led various community focused programs, testified before State and Federal legislatrues on important City issues, negotiated constituent wins, contracts, labor disputes, and more. I was also elected to serve as the city's representative on the League of California cities and served in multiple additional leadership capacities, including as Vice Mayor, Chair of the Finance Committtee, Chair of the Economic Development Committee, Board member of the joint powers authority Modesto Regional Fire Authority, Policymaker for the StanCOG board, and more.

Was an original member for the BNI group in Modesto. Built relationships with other business owners and referred work to one another through networking.

Created radio advertisings for business, comprehensive advertising packages to promote companies, on-site promotions, planning of festivals and music venues.
