Within this committee, we promoted a diverse, inclusive chapter. We addressed issues with race, gender or ethnicity. We created mandatory events in which sorority members had to educate themselves about different cultures, such as watching educational documentaries. We pushed for diversity and inclusion as well as open communication about these subjects. If there was a problem that developed, we discussed it right away and thought of a plan for the better of our chapter as a whole.

I worked as a hostess and food runner at a popular restaurant in Belmar, New Jersey. Belmar consists of a very diverse community, so I was able to work with a variety of people. Once again this area gets super popular in the summer, so I had to be on my toes and helping out where ever I could, which was quite enjoyable for me and made the time go by fast.
