About Stephanie Gandy
Currently, I have the pleasure of serving as the Assistant Director of Professional Development in the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. I have a three-fold position: I work with students to find employment (part-time, internships & full-time) and graduate study opportunities. I work with employers to find strong candidates for their positions and/or program of study. Finally, I work with faculty/staff to promote these opportunities throughout the College. My passion for my work stems from a long history of being an intern, and realizing the importance of gaining experience early and the advantages of professional development. My background in Communication has led me to believe that the most powerful tool we can have is our words. They create, mold and revitalize our world. Communication, and all that it inspires, has the ability to move people to action. It can change thinking and attitudes. I believe in being curious, asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them.
