As a Nurse Practitioner I am passionate about safe, effective and patient-centered care which is free from prejudice and engenders patient autonomy. My experience with education and research has demonstrated to me that access and social determinants of health continue to be a barrier for many patients in their health journey. I believe that the utilization of technology for healthcare delivery will improve equitable access to care and resources. I am passionate about vision and strategy development for patient-centered health care platforms. I believe that my experience as a Nurse Practitioner has created a deeper understanding of the patient experience and an ability to assess patient motivation for participating in care as well as maintaining a provider-patient relationship. These skills will prove helpful when considering patient retention strategy in the expansion of health care technology platforms.
