•Meet or exceed center sales and profitability goals.•Ensure all protocols, processes and operating systems in the areas of membership sales, retention, customer service, and center operations are properly deployed and optimized. Ensure members are held to the standards and requirements of their program in order to ensure compliance. •Ensure consistency in sales delivery model and refine sales skills as needed. •Develop and execute a monthly grass roots marketing plan working with members of the team in order to increase efficiency in execution.•Coach staff on performance and professional development, holding all employees to the highest standards of accountability and operational excellence.•Deliver training, coaching and corrective action to employees as needed in conjunction with Company policies •Act as a role model for healthy eating habits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the Company.

Assists in all aspects of membership for the organization including recruitment of new members, retention of existing members and supervision of assigned staff. Assists in the development of plans and implementation of new procedures and methods to achieve strategic goals.-Implements membership strategies that support recruitment of new members and retention of existing members. Creates a member-focused culture and models relationship-building skills (including Listen First) in all interactions. Fosters a climate of innovation and resolves problems to ensure member satisfaction.-Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.-Promotes program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members.-Coordinates program registration, including logistics to support phone, walk-in and web registration.-Coordinates with marketing efforts to maximize enrollments and provides ongoing support to Program Directors on related issues.-Participates in the planning of the department budget.-Ensures proper implementation of front desk procedures. Reviews and updates desk procedures and communicates changes to staff. Coordinates with the business office as necessary on financial transactions.-Organizes membership events at the YMCA and represents the YMCA at community events to promote the YMCA.-Participates in fund-raising campaign.-Participates in staff meetings and/or related meetings.-Regularly runs membership reports to ensure that trends are being noted and our numbers are accurately documented.-Models and teaches cause-driven leadership characteristics for the Welcome Center to possess the level of customer service that is critical to the success of the YMCA.
