The Alliance builds and sustains local and global communities by maximizing philanthropic resources and volunteer efforts for the Jewish and non-Jewish community across Rhode Island. Through fundraising strategy and management, our team is responsible for the annual campaign, raising approximately $3.2M each year.

Through management of the Partners in Service program, I directed engagement with faith organizations, local businesses, and other community institutions in order to build sustainable and long-term support systems for Providence’s at-risk children connected to FSRI. My primary responsibilities includeed driving the growth and evaluation of the program, recruiting new partners and establishing new initiatives. In this role, I established multiple new businesses, congregational and volunteer networks through relationship building and needs assessments with staff and community members, and created high-level tracking and evaluation processes.

The Associated’s planning and allocations process builds on years of committed, effective service to Baltimore and global at-risk communities allocating approximately $40 million per year. My specific responsibilities included:-Key oversight and consultation with community members, donors and program staff regarding $7.1 million in grant allocations focused on international development and community programming, including management of grants including evaluation,contracting, fiscal management and allocation process.-Staff leadership on 7 essential community-leader steering committees that determined organizational strategy, goals and funding.-Relationship development with community leaders, donors and community organizations.

Developed and facilitated large-scale projects for medical center staff and patients with the objective of improving patient outcomes, satisfaction and safety. With hospital-staff and leadership, I managed process improvement initiatives to ensure a high-quality of safe and effective patient care, created new initiatives to address challenges in the medical center and facilitated community outreach programming to the large disenfranchised urban surrounding population.
