SCOPE►Reporting to the Head, Global Patient Advocacy, I lead the development and execution of Alexion's overarching advocacy strategy ►This includes defining, standardizing and executing standard methodologies for patient advocacy engagement across the continuum of drug discovery and commercializationPATIENT ADVISORY BOARDS►Conceptualize and execute Patient Advisory Boards, focus groupsroundtables to bring patients voice and feedback in early stage in R&DPATIENT ADVOCACY GROUPS►Maintain and enhance relationships with patient advocacy organizations from across the different therapeutic areas of interest to Alexion and other patient advocacy and relevant allied stakeholder organizations►Identify emerging area partners and build new relationships►Lead global and local strategies to partner with patient groups on awareness campaign, disease education and engagement so in turn they can bring meaningful contribution to the HTA►Drive engagement with rare disease and other umbrella patient groups on policy advocacy initiatives to elevate policy issues related to the rare disease environment►Identify opportunities to collaborate with patient advocacy groups in data generation initiatives, e.g. in relation to HTA or other post-marketing initiatives, and registries►Identify, initiate and oversee strategic patient advocacy programs and partnerships in disease area where community had no support.
