With this business I create a range of handmade items including bibs, teething rings and blankets – and occasionally custom orders if a customer requests a particular fabric or theme of print. More recently, I have also started making face coverings - including those for the deaf and hard of hearing.I started Snugs & Co alongside my current full-time role at ESOS following the closure of Foxglove Lingerie (see below). Foxglove Lingerie was too large a business to comfortably maintain due to the time, commitment and volume of custom orders that I received, so I wanted to channel my experience into a new venture that would be both rewarding and sustainable

Working on the Pertemps contract with IQVIA for the Office of National Statistics (ONS) I have worked within the team that recruited and managed study workers that gathered COVID information from volunteer members of the public across the country. This information is then used by the ONS to monitor key metrics for the first two years of the pandemic. During this time, we have managed over 300 study workers on this project.In this collaborative role, I act as a focal point for all scheduling, payroll and administrative queries for a team of field supervisors and am primarily focused on project coordination. The nature of the role requires high attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to adapt to constantly changing KPIs from IQVIA.

As well as my day to day duties, I have taken on extra project work in terms of account migrations and generated reports for our management team and company directors.

From 2014 I ran Foxglove Lingerie – I was responsible for all areas of the business from product inception to customer order completion. This role has given me vast experience in product design, the physical creation of products (all handmade to order), customer interaction and managing finances. I have gained a good understanding of reporting tools and used this knowledge to analyse data produced by analytics tools in order to convert this into actual value for the business.

As with my previous bar work at Boudoir Bar and Bar Kandi, my duties at the Old Brewery Tavern involved preparing drinks to specific requirements for both bar and restaurant customers, changing barrels, and general bar maintenance as well as providing 4-star restaurant service during daytime shifts. As the bar itself is linked to the Abode Hotel we had to adhere to strict rules in terms of conduct and appearance, and as a team we worked extremely hard to maintain the reputation and standard of service that is required of us.

My work at Studio 41 coincided with three roles (listed below). The club hosted the biggest themed nights in the area, each night I was required to dress up in various costumes depending on the theme of the night, most of which I made personally for myself and the team. When it was required, I was in charge of the decoration of the club to suit the theme of the night, and I usually spent the night assisting the public and performers, helping to take any unnecessary problems away from the security and bar staff. On occasion I would also stilt-walk and take part in stage performances.

In my role as Personal Assistant to the Director of Sweet Crazy, a confectionery distribution company, I was in control of all administrational work directed at my employer, prioritizing his work and managing his documents in an organized and efficient manner. I handled all major customer complaints and large orders from existing customers, as well as contacting new or developing businesses and discussing with them all the details and benefits of using the company as their main distributor. And when a meeting was required with new clients, I would accompany my employer.

I worked for a fixed period at Le Boudoir Bar in Orange Street, Canterbury. This work involved preparing complicated cocktails, serving wine, coffee and draught beers, changing beer barrels when required, opening and closing the premises, handling deliveries, buying supplies and preparing food, cleaning, and maintenance duties. On occasions, I had to perform such duties working alone. During busy times, I worked well alongside other bar-staff, ensuring to keep pace with customer demand.
