As Enterprise Champion for Rhyl College, I have been instrumental in developing enterprise education on a local level. I have coordinated an enterprise club for level 3 students which has introduced many different aspects of enterprise and entrepreneurship and which culminated in a trip to London to meet our local MP. I have actively introduced students to many different competions through Big Ideas Wales and Young Enterprise. I also sit on the board of Young Enterprise and act as Vice Chair.I have an active interest in Government drives for Enterprise Education and seek opportunities to work with Welsh Assembly Government and attend Enterprise Hub meetings. I am also an avid attendee at conferences for Enterprise Education including IEEC and CPD Hub. I am currently studying through the IEEP programme and as a consequence have developed my understanding and networks in Enterprise Education and this has had a positive effect on my teaching.I am currently trying to gain further understanding of the Enterprise Champion role at HE level.Other aspects of my role include coordinating several different business and enterprise courses across levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 where different understanding of subjects and types of learner have been pivotel to success.

The role included teaching business, tourism and leisure at GCSE and A level in addition to being a personal tutor forsixth form and gaining knowledge and understanding of the university application process.I was also actively involved in a behaviour management group.
