Choices Emergency Response Team (CERT) provides a hotline for those struggling with addiction who are seeking recovery resources. Our team works with clients for 6 months to not only address a crisis but provide support and resources to strengthen the path to recovery.

Specialize in working with children and their families to develop manageable recovery oriented goals to improve functioning in multiple life domains. Community, school and home based services.Member of emergency services team, on-call emergency services through IPU at CMHCAdditional training in working with pregnant women and their families that have experienced trauma and seek services to address mental health needs from a holistic perspective to improve healthy outcomes of pregnancy and working with loss and grief related to pregnancy, birth trauma, and unexpected outcomes. Volunteer experience in crisis intervention and stress management during crisis.

Completion of supervised requirements necessary to graduate from CACREP accredited graduate school program. Full Time.- Provided therapy to clients in community based setting (17-25 years old)- Lead groups to teach social and interpersonal skills, IDL skills, and wellness education (exercise and healthy eating)-Provided on-call services to deescalate crisis situations and assist client in utilizing coping strategies to improve outcomes

Worked with transitional aged young adults to assist them in developing skills to achieve recovery, leading to integration into independent living in the community. Linked client's to community resources and natural supports. Taught clients to utilize their strengths to overcome barriers to meet personal goals. Assisted clients in accessing employment and housing. Provided education on specific diagnosis including empirically supported treatments and prognosis. Assisted clients in developing individual treatment plans that addressed their personal goals along with specific interventions to meet goals based on client's personal and cultural beliefs and practices. Participated in community meetings and events to develop new resources on behalf of the clients.

Worked with children with severe emotional and behavioral problems to assist families in developing strategies that improved functioning. Facilitated family team meetings to include the family, service providers, and natural supports to assist the child and family in creating strength based solutions to meeting needs. Coordinated services, monitored progress, and linked child and family to resources to overcome barriers and increase positive experiences and outcomes. Utilized CAPRTF grant services to assist families in need and provided documentation to maintain this resource in a timely manner.
