I was responsible for field work, included collecting plankton using small ring nets, paired Bongo nets and Tucker trawl nets. Physical water column information was collected with CTD and ADCP sensors. The laboratory work included identification of macroscopic invertebrates, preparation of plankton samples for stable isotopic composition, lipid extraction, and determining ash content. Data analysis work included interpretation of CTD, ADCP, C/N stable isotope, lipid data and density data. Physical water column data and plankton collection was used for the base line study for the proposed SUEZ North America Calypso LGN project.

I was responsible for performing field work included collecting water quality information to determine lake ecosystem health, using instruments to detect dissolved oxygen, pH and salinity. Laboratory work included water sample analysis including hardness/alkalinity, nitrogen, phosphorus, chloride, iron, pH, conductivity/TDS, and turbidity, and Total/Fecal coliform analysis. Responsibilities also included designing lake aeration systems to specific improve lake overall health. During employment I was given additional responsibilities as area sales manager to assist customers with designing the right aeration system to fit the needs of their lake.
