An interest originally sparked for Printmaking in my teenage years I pursued an education in the medium with a fine arts perspective. After completion of my BFA I entered my first job in the field and took any opportunity to learn a new part of the business I was a part of. Two print shops and one relocation later I went from on printmaking (and everything in between), to embroidery, to management, to co-owning my own embroidery studio.With a constant need to learn more and grow more, I learned as many of the ins and outs as I could with what was available to me and once I reached those limits I sought my own studio and continued to challenge myself by taking courses in something unfamiliar, to learn sewing and garment construction.Taking on any new challenge and understanding is what I strive for in my career, even if I have to provide them for myself.
