Support the needs of cancer patients and families beyond the medicine.The Erik Hendricks Memorial Foundation seeks to bring awareness to and raise much-needed funding for patient support resources to decrease financial and logistical burdens and increase access to information and experts, support programs, resources and wellness options for patients and their families.The Erik Hendricks Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, was established in April 2015 to honor the memory of Erik Hendricks, who valiantly battled Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) for more than 20 years, and ultimately lost his life to the disease. The frustration that stems from the trial and error approach so many cancer patients face can be alleviated by having access to resources beyond just the medicine, including access to experts, information and palliative care options.
