Senior Lease Analyst
CurrentAnalyze, input and maintain oil and gas leases, right of ways, surface agreements, conveyances, operating agreements, farmouts and other contracts on Land computer system. Maintain changes in mineral and leasehold working interests and ties to wells. Prepare releases, extensions and various exhibits for assignments. Generate ownership reports as to depth and acreage. Research title and ownership in order to set up and maintain lease records. Work closely with Landmen in preparing documents, exhibits and ownership reports. Support due diligence activities related to oil and gas acquisition, divestiture and merger. Monitor lease and contract obligations and expirations for assigned areas. Mentor less experienced team players. Areas with the most experience are Louisiana and Texas. Software experience with Enertia, Gemisys and Excalibur Land Records systems.
