As a Community Relations Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care, I have the opportunity to wear many hats within my day to day job duties. My main role is to listen to the concerns of health care professionals, social workers, case managers, families, community members, and seniors within our communities. I want to be here to listen to those concerns and help to find solutions for them - The solution might be services through Home Instead Senior Care or it might be ordering meals on wheels through their local Senior Center. Sometimes I may be asked to help review their Long Term Care Insurance Policy or help develop a safe plan of care for their return to home after they have completed rehab at a nursing home. I am in the communities, answering questions about in home care and how Home Instead Senior Care can help to provide seniors with an option to continue to reside in their own home. I am in the communities volunteering to give back through organizations that need an extra hand. I help educate people on options they have and choices available to them through speaking engagements, educational materials, and one on one visits. I complete care consultations and plans of care for the clients that Home Instead serves and I also assist in introducing new clients to their CAREGivers once care is complete.
