Recruited to expand the operation of the CRYPAR Program into the Rockhampton Policing region serving as liaison between the Regional CRYPAR Coordinator, CRYPAR Police Inspector and external government agencies to support youth and families who are involved in the criminal justice system.

Kununurra, Wa

Appointed as a Juvenile Justice Manager at Kununurra in WA’s far north, I led a team responsible for rehabilitating juvenile offenders, running programs, delivering and evaluating community based mediation and facilitating the Community Conference process between young offenders, victims and the WA Police Service. I was also responsible for managing a team of 12 case managers and reviewing and approving the submission of Section 41 documentation for juvenile offenders.

Greater Perth Area

Appointed following the Dr Sue Gordon Inquiry into Indigenous Sexual Assault responsible for supporting, intervening, escorting and protecting victims and their families, conducting interviews, managing supervision orders, counselling victims and families, rebuilding family connections after disclosures. I also delivered community development education sessions focused on protective behaviours for school students along with the local schools.
