I am a motivated and enthusiastic educational leader with almost 20 years of experience in various campus based and central office leadership roles. Over the course of my professional career, I have learned that communication and relationship building is the key to driving effective organizations. For me, this means establishing clear expectations while at the same time building cultures of trust and providing hands-on support. I believe the success of any organization depends on the support and growth of its people. I am most proud of two particular accomplishments--the first is the work we put in as a team to improve 3 campuses from failing TEA accountability ratings to B scores for 2022. The second would be my time as an administrator at Carroll elementary. Being able to both teach and serve in a leadership capacity at the school I attended when I was a young girl is something I will cherish forever. Ultimately, I love the education field because it provides the opportunity and privilege to mold young people into healthy, well-rounded citizens.
