• Optimized Publix Super Markets conformity to the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Supply Chain Program• Developed a database for Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Audits to ensure supplier hazard control and ingredient safety were in compliance with Publix Quality and Reliability standards • Analyzed and improved SQFI and GFSI audit information using Microsoft Excel by decluttering and creating consistent organization, addressing non-specific and broad hazards such as ‘pathogens’, and increasing usability for Supply Chain team members and Quality Assurance managers• Prepared samples and coordinated taste and sensory panels for category reviews including developing and existing Publix brand products• Performed First Runs in the Labelling team to ultimately reject or deny the first print of a new sample• Toured Publix Super Markets Bakery Plant in preparation for audits identifying and revealing risks to the manufacturing process • Participated in a SQFI audit for Publix Super Markets Deli Plant • Presented Summer project on FSMA’s Supply Chain Program to Publix executives
