About Stephanie Kerry

I'm a Chartered UK Patent Attorney specialising in Life Sciences. I graduated from Newcastle University in 2018 with a PhD in Medical Genetics. I completed my Masters and BSc degrees in Newcastle in Neuromuscular Disease and Cell and Molecular Biology. I joined Definition IP after the completion of my PhD in 2018 and completed the PEB Foundation Certificate in 2021, qualifying as a UK Patent Attorney in 2024. I work in the Life Sciences team at Definition IP, supporting our clients from start-ups to SMEs and growing companies. I specialise in medical devices, diagnostics, cell and molecular biology. I'm particularly passionate about genetic and regenerative medicine and diagnostics/therapeutics for rare diseases.
