Stephanie is Co-Founder of Compassionate Capital, and Founder of ACCESS Medical Development and ACCESS Medical Inclusive Investments which are highly successful real estate development and investment firms with offices on the West Coast and the East Coast. Stephanie provides thought leadership, strategic planning, and the soft skills of political engagement on the local, state and federal levels. The curated relationships with celeberity influencers, Institution Grant Contributors, Impact Capital, Family Offices and Market Capital allow for the required capital stack to expand the sustainable wealth opportunities for communities, women, millennials, and minorities. Stephanie is an experienced angel investor and entrepreneur, who started her business in Commercial Real Estate at the age of 29. She founded ACCESS Medical Development in 1997, now a well-known brand in the medical real estate industry. ACCESS provides medical real estate solutions through development, leasing, and asset management. Recent hospital clients include DUKE Healthcare Systems, Carillon Memorial Hospital, REX Healthcare, UNC Hospitals, Inc., Wake Medical Center, as well as international facilities. Most recently in Haiti and Kenya. Additionally, Stephanie and her team are equity partners in each project. The novel idea to allow physicians' to own fractional ownership in the facilities, along with having the unique requirements of the individual, REITS, private equity, CDFIs, Family Offices, and foreign investors required the creation of multiple ownership structures and models. As a member of Investors’ Circle - SVN, since 2012, the focus on investing in social entrepreneurs, the INEQUALITY for women, BIPOC, and accredited being fenced off from investing in real estate became a burning mission.Stephanie continues to curate and create opportunities for others by sharing experiences and investments. Her numerous speaking engagements include spotlighting WEALTH CREATION for ALL. “closing the equity gap through education, entrepreneurship, and employment.” She also was recently honored to speak about the need for investing in women at the 28th Annual Sustainable, Responsible Impact Investing Conference in San Diego and the Decade of Women Conference in New York in partnership with the United Nations. Stephanie is also a Senior Advisor to the Impact Finance Center and continues to scale her impact on creating wealth opportunities for women and minorities, and their communities both locally and on the national stage.
