I was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont and attended college in Dallas, Texas where I have lived for the past 6 years! I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Computer Science. I also played three years of Division 3 Collegiate tennis where I earned two conference championships. I retired from tennis my senior year to place a greater emphasis on my academic passions, travelling and family. Thankfully after graduating, I was able to find my love for athletics again, but this time in a little bit of a different form - pickleball! Outside of athletics I love spending time playing all different types of board games, baking, and sipping a margarita in the Texas sun with a plate full of al pastor tacos.I began working as a Software Analyst under the EDGE program at DTCC in July of 2022. DTCC EDGE is a two-year program that provides a comprehensive understanding of it's company, industry, the technical and functional skills needed for the various business areas, and the leadership skills required for success. Analysts spend 18 months rotating through three different teams within the IT world: application development, testing, and infrastructure. The exposure to different types of team styles, technical skills, and business areas helped me solidify my career choice as a Software Developer.
