About Stephanie Kersten

I recently graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology on June 14, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Echocardiography. I completed my externship/clinical experience at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. I am ARDMS registry eligible. After completing my clinical experience at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV I began searching for cardiac sonographer positions, and I am still searching. As a new graduate, with only a year of clinical experience, I am finding it difficult to land a job opportunity. I would be grateful to find a job opportunity that will train me, challenge me and contribute to my success and growth as a cardiac sonographer. I am a competent sonographer and I have a lot of potential to be an excellent sonographer. I do, more than anything, want to be part of an imaging team and work in echocardiography. I am committed to becoming an excellent echo sonographer.I would appreciate any input/advice from anyone. I completed my externship in June 2014 and I have mainly received feedback from employers that they decided to choose more qualified applicants for the job. Again, I would be grateful to receive any input or advice/learn of possibly opportunites to help me on this job search journey. Thank you!!
