As a first grade teacher at Corning-Painted Post School District, I have over 20 years of experience in the classroom working with diverse learners. I have a master's degree in reading and working towards certification in K-12 leadership, which enable me to design and deliver effective and engaging curriculum and instruction.My mission is to help students develop their literacy and numeracy skills, as well as their social and emotional competencies, through differentiated instruction, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making. I also collaborate with professional learning communities within my building to share best practices and resources, and to support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
