I work the front desk and I am in charge of answering all phone, booking appointments, checking clients in and checking them out when they are done with their services. Not all the time appointments are booked right so it's also my job to find ways to fix the issue and make the client happy. It's important to remain patient and calm when dealing with a mix up to look professional. I'm also in charge of making sure the drawer stays on through out the day and I continue to do this when I do the close out at night. We have to make sure the salon is in perfect shape before we leave so that when the stylists come in the next day they are ready to start and do their best work.

I started out as working customer service. I was a cashier, ringing customers out and making sure they had everything they needed before they left the store. In November 2010 I moved up to a photo tech and they became responsible to help people develop and print their prints. It was a huge responsibility because photos mean a lot to people. In February 2011, I got promoted to become a supervisor. I had a set of keys and codes to the vault. I would count and close the drawers out each night. I would be the one responsible to deal with issues on the shift and make sure all the other employees were doing there right job. I would lock the store up and make sure all the night duties were done in order for the store to open properly the night morning.
