I started with Bed Bath & Beyond in Southern California as a part time associate and transferred to the Bay Area for better opportunities for advancement. While settling in, I worked my tail off which gave me the recognition I needed to be offered a full time position. Shortly after, I was promoted into a supervisory position and managed several departments throughout the store, including the Linens, Housewares, and the Front-End department. I was then promoted to Customer Service Supervisor, where I handled day-to-day customer interactions and became the team-lead for the training of fellow associates. More recently, I accepted the Receiving Supervisor position where I oversee the delivery and intake of merchandise along with managing vendor interactions and issues. During my time in the various supervisor positions, I averaged a team of 3- 10 associates reporting to me. I am a very motivated and confident individual who is looking for a company who values and recognizes their employees, while allowing me the opportunity to move up and create a future within the organization.I’m a great team player and am also able to handle individual tasks on my own. I strongly believe a positive mental attitude and strong work ethic are essential to providing superior customer service, and is something I practice everyday in the workplace. I am a people pleaser. I love all things that challenge me and continue to push me beyond my comfort zone.
