Hello there! My name is Stephanie Kushner.I recently received my degree from Florida International University and strongly desire to work in the medical field. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences on a pre-medical track with cum laude honors, I have a solid background in the sciences and a never-ending desire to learn.I was an active member of the TriBeta Biology Honor Society at FIU, where I not only achieved academic success but also won four major awards for my commitment and diligence. I was able to work with like-minded people through this experience, which stoked my interest in the medical industry even more.I was offered the opportunity to work as a medical scribe at the Miami Cancer Institute in the spring of 2022, where I was able to obtain practical experience in hematology/oncology and surgical oncology. This experience strengthened my ambition to study medicine and assist those in need.My ultimate objective is to matriculate into medical school and train to become a well-rounded physician who can positively impact my patients' lives. To do this, I'm looking for a part-time research position that will help me further my medical knowledge while simultaneously improving my application to medical school.I'm a committed, diligent individual who is constantly looking to improve. My curiosity pushes me to look for opportunities to learn new things and develop my abilities, especially in research, which I believe is essential to improving healthcare.I'm excited to network with individuals who are as passionate about science and patient care as I am as I prepare for medical school.
