• Organized countless events, conferences and tours involving budgets ranging from $2,000 to $800,000 with a staff and volunteer complement ranging from 1 to 100 plus. Some examples include several Ontario – wide tours for issue based campaigns.• Managed projects ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years involving budgets of $50,000 to nearly $1 million and staff and volunteers ranging from 2 to more than 25. • Excelled at community and external relations working with municipal and provincial politicians, their staff, and members of community organizations on research and outreach projects. As an example, I recruited the executive director of the Participatory Budgeting Project in New York to conduct workshops in Toronto for Ontario municipal politicians. I have also worked with environmental, social justice and labour organizations on community initiatives.• Wrote the curriculum and managed logistics for adult education courses, in addition to teaching courses.• Developed and delivered fundraising plans and events including formal dinners featuring high-profile guest speakers.
