I am a recent graduate from the University of Kentucky with a degree in business management and a minor in international business. I have always had a passion for animal welfare, and hope to use my degree to pursue a management or operations position in the animal welfare industry. I have years of experience working with companion animals of all kinds in both kennel and shelter environments. I also have experience with social media management from a volunteer coordinator role for Camp Kesem at the University of Kentucky and through managing the Hollywood Feed Facebook page for the Charleston location. I previously held a position as a supervisor with responsibilities involving hiring, interviewing, and training candidates. Currently, I hold a position as assistant manager at Hollywood Feed in Charleston, SC where I use my knowledge in animal care and nutrition to best support customers and their beloved pets. I also handle our rescue partnership communications and administrative paperwork/analytics in this position. I hope to use this combination of experience and passion to make a positive impact on the animal industry. For potential interested employers, I am open to quick relocation as well.
