I was promoted from Senior Manager of Integrity (Quality) to the Director of Operations to manage daily operations of the production floor in Berkley. Simultaneously, I supported the bring-up of the Taiwan production floor, including hiring team members. By allocating resources, delegating responsibilities, identifying/resolving challenges, and designing processes and procedures, I was able to advance continuous improvement to workflows. On top of that, I also turned around underperforming client relationships and drove ISO:9001 certification. • I sourced, interviewed, and hired new Quality personnel to build the Quality department from the ground up, improving customer audit scores. • I acted as a resource and sole point of contact for a critical customer.• I coached and mentored 40 staff members, including Quality Engineers, QA Department, Production, Facilities, Manufacturing Engineers, and Program Managers. By participating in all phases of feature design and release, I minimized the impact on part production for Carbon printers. was an instrumental member of the team that developed specifications for Oracle’s circuit boards. I worked with a team of engineers to author fabrication drawings. On top of that, I acted as a resource for team members to ensure a clear understanding of technical specs and maximize the standardization of outputs. • I was chosen to oversee a new technology project that monitored the process capability of suppliers. Simulated and developed the laboratory setup for a project. Used a rotating magnet field to create "walkers" out of super-paramagnetic beads. These walkers could potentially be used to create and drive fluid flow in a system.
