About Stephanie Greer
At Akin Mental Health we're working to improve the wellbeing of families affected by severe mental illness like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. We believe that family support and education is the most undervalued multiplier of health and wellness in mental illness recovery. We believe every family member deserves support and every individual navigating mental illness deserves family advocacy. I began my career by studying the brain. After achieving a PhD in neuroscience, I saw the opportunity to impact more people by working on the digital products that support health and wellness. My work spans many types of companies, challenges and projects from diminishing anxiety in young adult cancer survivors to promoting healthy sleep for everyday iPhone users. I most enjoy work that brings together many different voices to build something new.
