Since 2006, responsible for the creation of 6 Blended Scotch whiskies, 21 Single Malt expressions, 2 Spirit drinks and numerous single casks, finished casks and small batch bottlings. Responsible for:Determining the strategic inventory utilisation policy for all Scotch whisky ranges.Determining the New Make Spirit fillings profile, and specifying makes and volumes for trading.Determining the wood policy, and specifying wood profle and volume on an annual basis, working with cask suppliers to ensure quality.Setting liquid quality standards for all whiskies, new make spirit, spirit drinks and gins.Managing the liquid creation process from developing ideas with marketing to create the concept, to accepting the liquid brief, development of pilot blends and supply of brand story. Also heavily involved in media activities - talking to journalists - either by phone, in person or written questions, and in market appearances.Responsible for ensuring that any information provided by marketing regarding our whisky range is accurate and supportable.Monthly review of Blend variance and Fillings variance.UK operations lead on 'Women in Leadership'Member of the Scientific Committee of the SWAMember of the Research Management Committee of the SWRIChair of the Flavour Technical Liaison Group of SWRI
