In charge of managing the operations of an after school program consisting of 90 students and approximately 20 staff. Program planning for school community events, providing new and exciting enrichment courses, and monitoring implementation is done in conjunction with the YMCA. My continuous and extensive collaboration with theYMCA management and all program staff have been the key to successful program implementation.

AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination is nationally recognized college preparation program for 6th - 12th graders. I provide rigorous college readiness curriculum for the economically disadvantaged students at the middle school level. In addition to teaching, I coordinate the program implementation from the development of a yearly action plan,to the hiring of college tutors, and overseeing all essential documentation toward certification.
