Thermal Team Lead in the Thermal and Mechanical Analysis Branch of the Space Systems Department at Marshall Space Flight Center: The role includes leading a team of engineers conducting thermal design, analysis and testing of space systems thermal control systems, including technology development efforts. Duties include designing spacecraft thermal control systems using computer modeling with FEMAP, AutoCAD Thermal Desktop, and additional programs to simulate the thermal environments of space systems, including instruments, satellites, landers, and International Space Station systems and experiments. In addition to analysis duties, test planning and testing of hardware is performed as needed, both for space flight hardware and technology development prototypes. Team Lead duties include workforce planning, forward planning of training and conference attendance, providing project labor and cost estimates, mentoring, developing and implementing improved processes, and communicating about the Branch capabilities.

In addition to analysis duties, test planning and testing of hardware is performed as needed.

Mechanical Engineering Co-op in the Thermal and Mechanical Analysis Branch of the Space Systems Department at Marshall Space Flight Center. Projects include extensive modeling of various components, test set ups and systems using Pro Engineer, AutoCad, Thermal Desktop, MathCad, and/or Hyperworks software.

Facilitated engineering related workshops, covering topics such as 3D modeling, sustainability, the design process, and circuits, to high school students during ten day conferences. Guided students as a mentor through numerous robotics challenges using Lego Mindstorm NXT kits. Lead a team of students in leadership and teamwork related actions and acted as resident advisor in living areas.

Assisted the SUGV 310 Production Team in the Government and Industrial Division with testing of systems and CAD support. Developed individual projects and also collaborated with engineers and other interns on work. Executed extensive manuevering testing in the robot driving area.
