I have worked in the healthcare field through direct patient care and outpatient services for over 15 years. I am a graduate of Elgin Community College holding an A.A. and an A.S. I have obtained my Paraeducator License for ages Pre-K through 21 and hold a Vocational Certificate in Early Childhood Education Certification from ECC. I worked as a volunteer youth mentor for 7 years teaching 7th through 12th grade at a college preparedness program and have taught pre-kindergarten for nearly 2 years at a center based facility working with typical and atypically developing children.My broad range of skills and experiences have benefited me in both my professional and personal development. With my medical and educational background, my goal is to pursue a career path in Child Psychology.
