I am a retired teacher, at present in the Harrogate area, after living for almost twenty years in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, between Carcassonne and Narbonne. Writing is a huge pleasure, and I am currently working on my second, which is a novel. 'French Exchange with Rubies' (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084C3VHBD)is the story of the relationship between myself and my French pen friend which began in 1969 and lasted for decades. It is also the highlights of my life in France, where I met an old lady who worked for NASA on the Apollo 11 mission, a vigneron who set up his own organic wine company (now rated amongst the top organic wines in the world), a girl whose wedding was arranged by the French Foreign Legion and many others.
