Hi! I'm Stephanie! The Maternal Alloimmunization Foundation (MAF) is on a mission to make life brighter (and way less complicated!) for moms and babies affected by maternal alloimmunization and Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn (HDFN). We’re here to connect, advocate, and share resources for families navigating these rare and often misunderstood conditions. By raising awareness and building a network of support, we’re making sure every mom has the tools and allies she needs to tackle these unique challenges.As MAF’s Director of Engagement and Social Outreach, I bring both my passion and my personal experience to the role—having been through the ups and downs of maternal alloimmunization myself. My job is a blend of strategic planning + outreach, social media engagement, and good old-fashioned community-building. From sparking partnerships to securing funding, I get to champion the resources and networks that bring real change for families. And while I’m serious about the mission, I also believe in the power of a little humor and warmth to make our community feel welcoming and supported.My work is all about ensuring that families dealing with these rare conditions feel less alone and better equipped to advocate for the best care. I aim to make our advocacy a little lighter, a little brighter, and a lot more impactful! Whether it's brainstorming with healthcare leaders or connecting with moms, my goal is to keep the energy high and the mission clear: We’re here for moms, babies, and everyone who’s cheering them on.
