A four-year comprehensive program adding a global lens to my hospitality major through many different opportunities both on campus and abroad.During my Fall 2021 semester, I studied abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. I took courses in business, public speaking, ancient roman history, global politics, and the Italian language. Being fully immersed in Rome allowed me to truly experience all the Italian culture has to offer and furthered my goal of becoming a global citizen.In Spring 2023, I studied international business at UTS in Sydney, Australia and then completed an internationally-focused internship with Marken in Singapore.

-Supported Global Health & Social Impact in Pfizer’s Corporate Affairs by participating in projects for the Global Health Investments and Product Access teams. -Aided the launch of an updated skills-based volunteering program (Global Health Fellows) by assisting with creating a comprehensive onboarding strategy; developed new techniques to capture and showcase participants’ experiences.-Contributed to the publishment of Pfizer’s Multicultural Health Equity Collective action guide to address systematic racism in the healthcare industry; assisted with creating a speaker bureau and drafted slide decks for presentations of the paper’s findings; attended the NALEO conference.

-Helped to develop projects and research for Marken’s marketing and customer experience departments.-Supported a three-part process of re-strategizing Marken’s customer service design by researching unique CX strategies and drafting the implementation of these strategies-Acted as a liaison for Marken’s women empowerment campaign in collaboration with Go With the Flow; cultivated and engaged with vendors to supply marketing giveaway items; developed a meeting agenda for Marken’s upcoming annual sales meeting.

-Welcomed guests upon arrival and confirmed reservations; acted as the point of reference for guests who needed assistance or information.-Acquired extensive knowledge of Disney technology- including Magic Bands, My Disney Experience App, ticketing systems, and hotel reservations system to better assist guests.-Understand guests' needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by Disney.

-Responsible for taking customer orders and ensuring customer satisfaction; prepared tables by setting up silverware and glasses.-Performed cashiering functions on the POS system by closing checks and preparing end-of-shift reports.-Prepared all menu items in the kitchen on a rotating role schedule- head chef, sous chef, saucier, pastry chef, etc.
