I have 23 years of experience working with the Alabama Department of Human Resources, including as a caseworker, supervisor, program supervisor and County Director. I was at the County Director level for 14 years. This experience included working with child and adult abuse/neglect, foster care, adoptions, and administering county level child welfare, food assistance, child support enforcement, and family assistance/JOBS programs as well as having responsibility for the management of funds, personnel, and plant maintenance. Currently, I am employed as an Executive Director with a non-profit organization that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities.
