Since completing my foundation training I have worked full time at Birchwood Dental Practice where I have developed excellent relationships with patients and colleagues alike and I provide a full range of NHS and private dental treatments.Key Skills:• Full range of NHS dental treatments including direct restorations, extractions, periodontal treatment, endodontics, crowns, bridges, dentures and paediatric dentistry.• Private treatments including aesthetic extra-coronal restorations, composite bonding and tooth whitening.

This practice boasts a number of highly skilled dentists with special interests including endodontics, restorative dentistry, short term orthodontics, facial aesthetics, prosthetics and implants. I have observed my colleagues on a number of occasions and in some cases I have worked alongside them for particular cases, such as providing complex endodontics and carrying out bleaching and bonding cases. Key Skills • Experience in a wide range of clinical skills including restorative treatments, non-vital bleaching, severe tooth surface loss cases, periodontal care, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, private composites, bleaching techniques and extractions• Clinical photography and excellent patient records using Exact Software • Audit completed on the consent process for extractions vs endodontics and the information patients are given when deciding which treatment to proceed with. This was a very successful audit where effective changes were implemented within the practice and I created a range of patient leaflets for future use.• I was elected as the Speke Scheme representative 2015-2016 where I attended quarterly meetings with the Health Education North West deanery on behalf of my peers • I was the winner of the Speke scheme patient case competition and was voted as the Best Restorative Case 2016 for a complex restorative case completed over 4-6months in practice.
