Stephanie Mita is a Podiatrist at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Colleagues describe her as "As the editor of volume 98 of the Santa Clara Review, I am very proud of the issues we put out. The tireless work of Stephanie Mita played an enormous role in the success of the volume. Stephanie is an incredibly hard-worker. Stephanie read through hundreds of fiction submissions, many multiple times. She managed to sift through and find some of the most profound pieces that I believe our Review has ever put to print. Stephanie managed a team of assistant editors as well. She never leaned on them however, rather she lead them and made them better editors. Stephanie facilitated a fiction practicum once a week with our Poetry Editor and she did so with great poise. Stephanie is prompt, organized, and efficient. Stephanie is always ready and willing to lend ideas or aid. Beyond all this, Stephanie is a deep and dedicated individual who cares about the work she does and whom she is working with. Stephanie never failed to exceed all expectations. She is an incredible person and it was a privilege to work with her."
