This is a multi-faceted and creative role within the Donor Recruitment Department of the UK’s largest dog welfare charity. The department recruits donors via one-off appeals, supporter membership and the hugely successful ‘Sponsor a Dog’ Scheme. This scheme is the largest income generator for Dogs Trust’s £60million income. Heavily involved with the ‘Sponsor a Dog’ activities in particular, I have contributed to the organisation’s fundraising success through fulfilling a variety of duties including:• Copy Writing• Correspondence• One-off Supporter Mailings• Press Bookings• Research• Collateral• Cold Direct Mail• Administration Duties

A varied administrative and secretarial role, assisting a team of four. Duties included composing letters and emails, taking minutes and writing up reports, ensuring the smooth running of the post room and booking both couriers and hire vehicles as needed. After fulfilling a successful temporary placement in early 2008, I was invited back.

PA to a team of three busy project managers, duties involved typing up correspondence, co-ordinating diaries, meeting and greeting clients, taking phone calls and messages, booking both catering and couriers, managing meeting rooms, minute taking and other ad hoc admin and filing duties as required.

Within a small, office based letting company, responsibilities included:• Managing and motivating a small team of consultants , including organising staff rotas and holidays• Handling large volumes of incoming telephone calls and email queries• Booking appointments for clients to view properties• Meeting and greeting new clients and landlords• Cash handling and banking• Office administration and stationery orders
