I am currently Associate Circuit Judge, Division XI, for the 13th Circuit, Boone County, Missouri where I have served since 2019. I have handled criminal, civil, traffic, and probate matters for the 13th Circuit. Prior to taking the bench, I was an Assistant Prosecutor in Boone County, Missouri from 2007 to 2018, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. I have prosecuted some of the most complex and high profile cases including 20 murder/manslaughter cases.I also worked as an Adjunct Professor for Columbia College, was the Sturgeon, Missouri City prosecutor, and was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri from 2000 to 2006. teaching various legal classes and I am the Sturgeon, Missouri City Prosecutor. I have appeared in front of the Missouri Supreme Court over 12 times during my career. During law school I worked for the Kansas Public Defender System as well as Kansas Legal Services where I worked with the Elder Law Program providing advice and services to Kansas Senior Citizens.
