Responsible for migrating the entirety of the Navy.mil website from an antiquated proprietary content management system to the DoD's program of record, AFPIMS (American Forces Public Information Management System) in less than one year's time. Required obtaining several certifications (Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master) in order to manage remote contractor development team.

Tasked with researching, evaluating and/or creating professional development opportunities for public affairs community to include review of graduate education programs, in-office training events and online programs.

Defense Information School (DINFOS) is a component of the DoD’s Defense Media Activity. Its primary purpose is to train members of all branches of the United States military in the fields of broadcasting, journalism, public affairs, and visual information. As an instructor in the Public Affairs Leadership Department (PALD), I provide basic and advanced public affairs training to U.S. and international military officers, members of the U.S. Coast Guard, senior enlisted personnel, and civilian personnel in DoD and other federal agencies. Classes focus on teaching the doctrine, principles, techniques and application of military public affairs to approximately 130-140 students per year.

Established in 2006, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) serves as the single functional command to centrally manage current and future readiness, resources, manning, training and equipping of the United States Navy's 21,000 expeditionary forces who are currently serving in every theater of operation. NECC includes Naval Construction Forces (NCF) or "Seabees," Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EOD) and Mobile Diving and Salvage Units, Expeditionary Combat Camera, Norfolk (COMCAM), Coastal Riverine Force (CORIVFOR) as well as a host of other commands and missions.

Served as the primary point of contact for all media queries to the command.

Supervised approximately 300 distinguished visitors a month to the command to include visits by the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs as well as numerous general and flag officers.

United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) is charged with space operations (such as military satellites), information operations (such as information warfare), missile defense, global command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR), global strike and strategic deterrence (the United States nuclear arsenal), and combating weapons of mass destruction. It is one of nine Unified Combatant Commands of the United States Department of Defense (DoD).

Media operations for 5th Fleet area of operations: crisis communication, public relations, counter-piracy coverage to include all media queries regarding the pirating of the Maersk Alabama.5th Fleet encompasses about 7.5 million square miles and includes the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Gulf of Oman and parts of the Indian Ocean. Public affairs supervision for the Tarawa Expeditionary Strike Group at sea, to include visual information and media products for six ships often spanning two fleets.

Supervised navy participation in documentaries for Discovery, History and Military Channels along with television supervision of 24, NCIS and pilots in development.
