I am a member of the Litigation Department & Construction Law Group representing businesses in contract disputes and owners, school districts, institutes of higher education, contractors and subcontractors in a variety of matters, including, but not limited to, claims for breach of contract, professional negligence, violations of statute (PA's Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act, Public Project Prompt Payment Act and Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law), fraud, negligent misrepresentation, construction and mechanic's liens.I obtained a $5.5 million verdict on behalf of a Community College against an architect for breach of contract and professional negligence. I have also obtained numerous verdicts on behalf of my clients in construction cases and breach of contract cases, including an award of punitive damages. I have successfully defended employers against breach of contract claims and violations of Pennsylvania’s Wage Payment and Collection Law claims. I also chair the Facilities Committee and serve on the Capital Campaign Cabinet. I previously served as a member of the board of directors for the Villa Maria Academy Alumnae Association and the VMA Advisory Board. I am chair of the Membership Committee for the Chester County Bar Association. From 2017-2019 I served as the chair of the Leadership Board for the Arthritis Foundation Eastern PA Chapter. I also co-chaired the Bone Bash in 2017, 2018, and 2019.From January - July 2013, I served as Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees. I was the first graduate of the Dickinson School of Law to be elected by the alumni to serve on the PSU BOT. I served as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Audit and Risk and on the Committee on Outreach, Development and Community Relations, the Committee on Legal and Compliance and the Legal Sub-committee. I also served on the "Blue and White Vision Council."
