Rural Hospital FLEX/ SHIP Program Intern- Evaluated Critical Access Hospitals compliance with IRS requirements and common needs across the state of Iowa. Responsibilities include contacting hospitals for Community Health Needs Assessment reports, reviewing and evaluating reports for IRS compliance and common needs, and developing an updated written report summarizing the findings of the assessment which includes summary statistics and graphical displays for IDPH. Other tasks include presenting the findings, providing recommendations for improvement, and developing a master sheet to aid in data collection and management for future needs assessment reviews and report updates.

Research Assistant for the Native Center for Behavioral Health- Assisted with various projects for the Native Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC). Responsibilities include writing reports, conducting literature research, providing data summaries from events to staff, and participating in publication and evaluation meetings for projects being conducted through the Native Centers MHTTC, PTTC, and ATTC.
